Azarov wants Sorochyntsi Fair to become international

Velyki Sorochyntsi, Poltava region – Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov would like the Sorochyntsi Fair to become an important international exhibition.

"I would like to see this fair turning from a folk event into an international exhibition such as the one in Hannover... Sooner or later we'll have in Poltava region a modern international exhibition, which will meet European standards," he said at the Sorochynska Fair in Poltava region on Thursday.

The Kyiv Post is disabling its online comment section due to an increase in trolls, violent comments and other personal attacks. Other news organizations worldwide have taken similar steps for the same reasons. The Kyiv Post regrets having to take this action.
