You're reading: Bad weather causes blackouts in over 200 towns and villages in 11 regions

A total of 217 towns and villages in 11 regions of Ukraine were left without electricity as a result of bad weather (rain and strong winds) late on June 26 and as of June 28, the Ukrainian Emergencies Ministry's press service reported on Tuesday.

Bad weather caused blackouts in 105 towns and villages in Odesa region, 50 in Kyiv region, 12 in Cherkasy region, 11 in Mykolaiv region, 11 in Kirovohrad region, ten in Vinnytsia region, five in Chernihiv region, four each in Donetsk and Kharkiv regions, three in Zaporizhia region and two in Dnipropetrovsk region.

Power crews are restoring electricity supplies in the regions.
