European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso will meet with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Brussels on Aug. 30, before the extraordinary summit of the European Union, European Commission's Spokesperson Jonathan Todd reported.
The aim of this meeting is to discuss the situation in Ukraine, its recent developments, the future elections, as well as support for Ukraine from the European Union, Todd said.
Poroshenko also plans to meet in Brussels with European Union Council President Herman Van Rompuy.
