For its part, a subdivision of the 103rd Separate Mobile Special-Forces Brigade of the Armed Forces performed a march to Kostyukovka, Gomel Region, the ministry said.

“During the march, the personnel worked on an assignment of countering a mock enemy attack. Upon arrival at the point of destination, the personnel went under control of the border guard authorities, occupied the new positioning area and started setting up a field camp,” the ministry said.

Efforts continue in Yelsk District of Gomel Region to form a territorial defense headquarters and a separate small-arms company of the territorial troops, according to the Defense Ministry.
