The bodies of two Ukrainian citizens who died in the crash of a Yak-42 plane near Yaroslavl in Russia will be sent to Boryspil International Airport on Friday.

"They [the two victims] will be buried in Ukraine. Our consular office in Boryspil Airport has been instructed to provide all of the necessary assistance to our citizens who are returning, and to the relatives of the victims," Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleksandr Dykusarov told reporters in Kyiv on Friday.

He noted that a third Ukrainian killed in the plane crash would be buried in the Russian city of Omsk. He said that the family and friends of the victim had taken this decision.

"We will not say when the funeral will take place, and where. You have to understand that people are in grief, and that would be a violation of their rights," the diplomat added.
