Bohatyriova: Working group to develop modern legislation to protect citizen's language rights

The working group that will be formed by initiative of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych will develop new language legislation to protect language rights of Ukrainian citizens, Vice Premier and Health Minister of Ukraine Raisa Bohatyriova has said.

She added that one of the key tasks of the working group will be amendments to the law on the principles of the state language policy that was passed by the parliament on July 3.

"The working group will draw up a document to ensure development and full functioning of the Ukrainian language, as well as to guarantee free development and use of other native languages of Ukrainian citizens," she said.

Actions speak louder than words. Vitya and his Party of Reprobates have always been big on promises but rarely deliver. Their primary concern lies with the people who support them, ie. Great Russian chauvinists and their little russian followers. They could care less about anyone else.
