You're reading: Bohomolets: Ukraine to provide domestically produced painkillers for ATO and Ukrainian soldiers

Ukraine is to provide participants of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) and Ukrainian soldiers with domestically produced painkillers, advisor to the President of Ukraine Olha Bohomolets said on Sept. 18.

“Due to the great demand for specific medicines needed at war time,
specific measures are being developed to launch domestic pharmaceutical
lines for the production of disposable syringes, tourniquets and other
extremely needed medicines,” she said.

According to Bohomolets, the issues of reorganization of such a
production was raised during at a weekly meeting with the
representatives of Defense, Interior and Health Ministries, the Security
Service of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and other
organizations involved in regulation of medical provision in ATO zone.
The meeting was held in the Presidential Administration of Ukraine.
