You're reading: Cabinet allocates Hr 2.862 million to provide one-time aids for protestors injured on Maidan

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated Hr 2.862 million for Social Policy Ministry to provide one-time aids for those who sustained grave bodily injuries during the mass protest rallies lasting from Nov. 21, 2013 until Feb. 21, 2014.

It was formalized in the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 877-p dated Sept. 17, 2014.

According to the document, the amount of aid equals to 50 minimum living wages for able-bodied persons. Finance Ministry was tasked to allocate the required money from the reserve fund of the state budget. Social Policy Ministry was tasked to approve the list of related expanses in coordination with Economic Development and Trade Ministry and Financial Ministry by Sept. 24. The report on usage of the allocated money is to be sent to Economic Development and Trade Ministry, Financial Ministry and the State Treasury of Ukraine by Nov. 30.
