The Ukrainian government has approved a list for the construction, reconstruction and overhaul of public roads of state and local importance and allocated Hr 681.2 million from the budget for financing roadwork in 2013

According to cabinet resolution No. 381-r dated March 20, 2013, it is
planned to spend Hr 616.85 million on road construction and
reconstruction – Hr 345.473 million for state roads and Hr 271.376
million for local roads.

Most of the money will be spent on the construction and development
of sections of the Znamyanka-Luhansk-Izvaryne road in Dnipropetrovsk
region (Hr 179 million) and the construction of a highway across the
Dnipro River in Zaporizhia (Hr 225 million).

It is planned to spend Hr 64.35 million on road overhauls, and the funds will be used for roads of state importance.

As reported, the government under decree No. 219 of March 20 this
year approved a list for the construction, reconstruction and overhauls
of public roads of state and local importance and their funding in 2013
at the expense of loans worth Hr 6.975 billion raised under state
guarantees.
