Lviv, December 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The government of Ukraine is intending to assist in attracting credits from Chinese companies for CJSC Zaporizhia car plant (ZAZ), so it can produce cars for disabled people, Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko has said.

"A scheme which allow us over a year to provide the disabled people of the country with cars has been completely worked out (98,000 cars). For this purpose, the Chinese will issue a credit to Ukraine for 20 years, and our producers will make the cars," she said on the International Day of People with Disabilities in Lviv on Dec. 1.

According to Tymoshenko, Ukraine, the Ukrainian car industry, represented by ZAZ, and Chinese companies have been in talks since early 2009. The government planned to realize the program in 2009. However, according to Tymoshenko, due to political instability, the cabinet was forced to postpone it until next year.
