The Cabinet of Ministers has ordered to increase by Hr 300 million costs for the construction of a diagnostic and treatment complex of the Okhmatdyt National Specialized Children's Hospital (Kyiv) and the reconstruction of the National Cancer Institute.

This is stipulated in government order No.149-r of March 20 on the
redistribution of some costs of the national budget foreseen for the
Finance Ministry for 2013 and amendments to Cabinet resolution No. 76 of
February 11, 2013.

According to the order, this amount is allocated within total budget
allocations foreseen for the Finance Ministry in 2013 at the expense of
redistributing costs through reducing costs on the program of servicing
and repaying debt obligations on loans and increasing costs on the
construction of a diagnostic and treatment complex of the Okhmatdyt
National Specialized Children’s Hospital and the reconstruction and
expansion of the National Cancer Institute.

On March 19, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said that the new building
of Okhmatdyt for children with cancer would be commissioned by the end
of the current year.

“The task is clear: by the end of this year to commission this
building. And then another two buildings will be constructed. They will
be put in operation in 2014-2015,” the premier said.
