A member of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine, Ihor Zhydenko (a BYT representative), has said he believes that the parliamentary elections in Ukraine were not fair in any constituency.

“No district can be described as one where the elections were free,” he said at a commission meeting on Monday during the consideration of a vote count protocol at single-seat constituency No. 46 (Donetsk region), where the CEC decided to declare Regions Party representative Serhiy Kliuyev an elected MP.

Zhydenko said that he had signed the protocol to declare the election results in district No. 46 with additional observations.

“Cheating, bribery and other dirty tricks were reported in the elections and had an impact on voters,” he said.

In addition, the commission also recognized Regions Party member Vitaliy Bort as being elected as MP in district No. 56 in Donetsk region.
