You're reading: CEC: Poroshenko leads presidential elections with 53.75 percent of vote

According to information obtained after processing 70.08 percent of the electronic protocols, 53.75 percent have voted for parliamentarian Petro Poroshenko and 13.11percent have voted for Batkivschyna leader Yulia Tymoshenko, Ukraine's Central Elections Commission reported on May 26.

They are followed by Oleh Liashko, leader of the Radical Party, with
8.49 percent of the vote, Anatoliy Hrytsenko, leader of the party Civil
Position (5.42 percent), and Sergiy Tigipko (5.29 percent of the vote).

Oleh Tiahnybok, leader of the Svoboda Union has received 1.16 percent of the
vote, and Dmytro Yarosh, leader of the party Right Sector, has received
0.67 percent of the vote.
