You're reading: CEC receives protocol of by-election to Rada in Chernihiv constituency

The Central Election Commission has received the original protocol from district election commission № 205 (Chernihiv) on the vote count in the July 26 by-election to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

According to the protocol which was read by chairman of district election commission № 205 Mykhailo Punko at a meeting of the Central Election Commission, member of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc Serhiy Berezenko mustered 17,782 votes (35.9 percent), while his main rival, nominee of the Ukrop party Hennadiy Korban got 7,311 votes (14.76 percent).
