Kyiv's Pechersky District Court has postponed a hearing of a case in which a defense counsel of former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, Serhiy Vlasenko, is accused of causing bodily harm to his ex-wife Natalia Okunska for January 10. The hearing will begin at 1100.

An Interfax-Ukraine correspondent has reported that at a preliminary
hearing on January 3 Vlasenko asked the court to allow his defense
counsel Hanna Boriak to defense him and the court postponed the hearing
for January 10.

The case is heard by three judges, including Inna Otrosh. Vlasenko
said that the preliminary hearing is to be heard by one judge and he
said that Otrosh is a biased judge, as she had a personal conflict with
Vlasenko.

He said that in December 2010 Otrosh told SBU that he allegedly sent her SMS messages with threats from a PC.
