In such a way, Judge Yevhen Martynov at a court sitting partially granted the prosecutors’ request who asked for Hr 17.8 million bail as the measure of restraint for Huzhva, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.

The court ordered Huzhva not to leave Kyiv without permission of the investigator, the prosecutor or the court, to report any changes of the place of residence, and to give them his foreign travel passport for the duration of this restraint, which is set until Oct. 1.

Ukrainian media have recently reported that Huzhva was put on the wanted list in connection with the investigation into tax evasion.

This week, the press service of the Vesti Ukraine media holding reported that Huzhva left the media holding and sold his stake in it. At present, the holding includes UBR TV, VESTI radio station, VESTI daily newspaper, vest-ukr.com website and VESTI.REPORTER magazine. The official rights to all the assets of the holding currently belong to Media Holding Vesti Ukraine (Cyprus).
