The observation mission of the European Parliament made of former President of the European Parliament Pat Cox and former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski will visit Ukraine on October 21-22.
The observation mission of the European Parliament led by Pat Cox and Aleksander Kwasniewski will carry out its 23rd working visit to Ukraine this week. On October 21-22, the mission will visit Kyiv and Kharkiv and hold talks with its main interlocutors, the EU Delegation in Ukraine reported.
The Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine noted that the time for providing an acceptable solution to the issue of the imprisonment of Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko was running out. The goal of the mission is still to have Kyiv meet the necessary criteria established by the Council of the EU Foreign Ministers in December 2012, which will enable the signing of the Association Agreement with Ukraine.
