Brussels – The observers of the European Parliament, ex-president of the European Parliament Pat Cox and ex-president of Poland Aleksander Kwasniewski, will report on the results of their mission in Ukraine at a meeting the political leaders of the European Parliament on Oct. 15 attended by European Parliament President Martin Schulz.

It is expected that on the completion of the report that Cox and Kwasniewski will hold a joint press conference with Schulz.

Meanwhile, some officials of the European Parliament do not rule out that the mandate of the mission will be extended due to the fact that the situation with former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has not been completely resolved.

“A lot of work remains to be done,” a source in the European Parliament told Interfax-Ukraine.

This issue will be discussed at the conference of presidents.
