You're reading: Crimean delegation to visit Moscow on March 6-8

A Crimean delegation led by Supreme Council Chairman Volodymyr Konstantynov will visit Moscow on March 6-8, Konstantynov told reporters.

The delegation is comprised of Crimean Supreme Council Deputy Chairman Serhiy Tsekov and members of the Supreme Council Presidium Kostiantyn Bakharev and Volodymyr Klychnykov, the Supreme Council press service reported.

“Not a single person in Russia is indifferent to the current events in Ukraine and Crimea. We have established a serious dialogue with our Russian colleagues. I want to thank them for their involvement, their reaction to our appeals,” Konstantynov said.

The sides will discuss humanitarian and energy issues and drug and food supplies, he said.

“We are also concerned about the approaching holiday season, and we will negotiate this issue, as well. Work on financial support from regions of the Russian Federation is already being done.
