You're reading: Crimean premier leaves for Turkey to agree on cooperation

SIMFEROPOL – A delegation from the Autonomous Republic of Crimea headed by Crimean Premier Anatoliy Mohyliov has arrived in Turkey on an official visit.

According to the main information policy department of the Council of Ministers of Crimea, the visit is aimed at strengthening cooperation between Crimea and Turkey, implementing agreements truck earlier, and establishing new business contacts between Crimean and Turkish businessmen.

Turkey is one of five main foreign economic partners of Crimea, which carries out around 5% of all export-import transactions. In 2011 the value of Crimea’s foreign trade with Turkish regions grew by more than 30%, to $100 million.

"Today trade and economic relations are reaching pre-crisis levels, and are rising steeply. Considering the economic growth of Turkey, I invite Turkish businesses to invest in Crimea more actively," Mohyliov said.

During the visit, the Crimean premier will hold a number of working meetings with Turkish public officials and businessmen.
