Crimean Prime Minister Dzharty dies

Vasyl Dzharty, the prime minister of the autonomous republic of Crimea in Ukraine, died in the early hours on Wednesday, his press secretary Violetta Lisina told Interfax-Ukraine. "Vasyl Dzharty died in Crimea this morning," she said.

The Crimean Council of Ministers reported that it was currently unclear where Dzharty will be buried.

"Metropolitan of Simferopol and Crimea Lazar will hold a memorial service in Simferopol today," Lisina added.
