Ukraine's army will follow the Swiss model, Ukrainian Defense Minister Valeriy Heletei said.
“A modern army can’t be built overnight, but we now understand very well what it should be like,” Heletei said on 1+1 TV Channel on Aug. 24.
Heletei said the best model for Ukraine’s army is the Swiss army. In this model, “every Ukrainian should understand his or her role in the event of a large-scale aggression or hybrid war,” the minister said.
The minister also said that “we understand very well who our enemy is and who our partner is.”
