Ukraine's servicemen have received permission to use weapons to protect their lives, the press service of the Defense Ministry reported.

 

“A Ukrainian soldier has been killed in Simferopol today during the
assault on the 13th photogrammetric center of the main department of the
operational support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to a
decision of the Acting Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of
Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov, acting Defense Minister Ihor Teniukh,
based on the order of the chief of staff of the military units stationed
in Crimea, the servicemen deployed in Crimea are allowed to use weapons
to protect their lives,” Interfax-Ukraine learned at the Defense
Ministry’s press service on Tuesday.
