Deficit of Ukraine's state budget in January comes to Hr 1.6 billion

The deficit of Ukraine's national budget in January 2014 amounted to Hr 1.607 billion, the Finance Ministry reported on Feb. 27.

The deficit of Ukraine's national budget in January 2014 amounted to Hr 1.607 billion, or 2.5 percent of the ceiling deficit for the year (Hr 71.564 billion), the Finance Ministry has reported, with reference to a report by the State Treasury Service dated Feb. 25.

According to the report, revenues of the national budget in January 2014 compared to January last year rose by 9 percent, to Hr 25.299 billion, in particular those of the general fund - by 12.2 percent, to Hr 22.505 billion.

The cash expenditures of the national budget in January 2014 increased by 8.4 percent, to  Hr 26.895 billion, in particular those of the general fund rose to Hr 25.351 billion.
