You're reading: Delimitation works continue in eastern Ukraine

Ukraine keeps working on the delimitation line in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts in cooperation with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, army operation spokesman Andriy Lysenko said.

“Speaking of the delimitation group, it has been actually doing this work but not publicly. It was precisely the work of our officers and representatives of other countries, including representatives of the OSCE who had been helping us, that achieved an ideal level of the regime of silence,” he said at a press briefing on Dec. 25.

Servicemen have not been killed in the east for several days in a row and the number of shooting incidents has declined, Lysenko said. He said the work would be carried on and the Ukrainian side would do everything in its power to observe the truce regime and to proceed to the fulfillment of other provisions of the Minsk agreements.
