Thousands of demonstrators in Lviv started booing when it was reported that the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, refused to express no confidence in the government led by Mykola Azarov on Tuesday, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported from the scene.

The demonstrators rallying in support for Ukraine’s integration with
the European Union watched a live broadcast from the Rada session hall
on a giant screen on one of central squares in Lviv. Police estimated
the number of demonstrators at over 10,000.

During Azarov’s speech at the parliament, the demonstrators in Lviv
regularly chanted ‘Disgrace’ or ‘Resign’, and some of the speakers at
the rally called for the president’s impeachment and the Rada’s
dissolution.

Police said the rally is proceeding without incidents.
