Dnipropetrovsk regional governor Kolesnikov resigns

Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Dmytro Kolesnikov has resigned on Feb. 27.

Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Dmytro Kolesnikov has resigned, the press service of the administration reported.

Kolesnikov was appointed to the post of the head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration in December 2012. Previously, he headed the State Agency for State Corporate Rights and Property Management of Ukraine.

The Kyiv Post is disabling its online comment section due to an increase in trolls, violent comments and other personal attacks. Other news organizations worldwide have taken similar steps for the same reasons. The Kyiv Post regrets having to take this action. The newspaper believes in a robust public debate, but the discussion must be constructive and intelligent.
