You're reading: Donetsk authorities report eight dead, 16 injured in Sloviansk on May 5-6

 As of 3 p.m. on May 6, following the forceful operation in Sloviansk eight people died, Donetsk Regional State Administration's healthcare department said. "Sixteen people with gunshot wounds have been hospitalized in healthcare facilities of the region. Doctors assessed their condition as serious and moderately serious," Donetsk Regional State Administration's press office said in a statement.

 The Health Department said that eight people were killed, 16 injured during the antiterrorist operation on May 5 and May 6.

The previous reports said that nine Ukrainian servicemen were killed and 30 wounded during the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On May 5, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry reported four dead Ukrainian servicemen.
