DONETSK - Military action is taking place on the border of the Kirovsky and Petrovsky districts of Donetsk on Monday afternoon and explosions are being heard in practically all districts of the city, the press center for the city mayor's office has reported.
“The epicenter of military action is now in the Kirovsky and Petrovsky districts. Electric power lines have been damaged in several places in the micro district Tekstylnyk and all residential buildings and enterprises are now without power. Repair teams will begin working on restoring power supplies immediately after the fighting stops,” the city council reported.
In addition, there are problems with the water supply to the Kirovsky and Kuibyshevsky district. The city water supply authority has reported problems with the southern water junction. Repair teams are re-directing water to other junctions and promise to restore the water supply to city residents by this evening.
