You're reading: Donetsk City Council reports overnight gunfire

Last night was not quiet in Donetsk. The city was woken by heavy weapons fire at about 02:00, the City Council said.

“There were no more reports of heavy gunfire from city districts as of 09:30. Yet tensions persisted in Donetsk,” said the report published on Sept. 11 morning.

Public utility services and repair teams are at work, the authorities said.

Donetskmiskgaz specialists have restored gas supply to 200 private households in the Kyivsky district and repairs continue in other areas of the city.

A total of 128 public transport vehicles – 55 streetcars, 55 trolleys and 18 buses – are working on Sept. 11. Service is good.
