You're reading: ‘Donetsk People’s Republic’ authorities promise to take measures to search for missing OSCE reps

The press office of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic has confirmed the fact that four representatives of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) went missing.

“We have been told that OSCE employees do not get in touch, however representatives of the Donetsk republic have nothing to do with the disappearance of the mission in the Donetsk region. We will take measures to search for the employees,” the press office told Interfax on May 28.

It was reported on May 27 that an OSCE special monitoring mission in Ukraine lost contact with a group, which worked in the Donetsk region. According to the information of the mission, the team carried out a routine patrol east of Donetsk when contact was lost and it has not been restored up until now.
