The chairman of the presidium of the Supreme Council of the 'Donetsk People's Republic', Denys Pushylin, has said the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) is planning to recall its monitoring groups from the self-proclaimed republic on Wednesday.

“A meeting is due to take place today, and the OSCE is to recall its
monitoring groups,” he said on the Rossiya-24 television channel.

Pushylin said the militants cannot guarantee security to the
observers, and these in turn, he claims, are a subject for the
provocations by Ukrainian government forces.

“We cannot guarantee their safety. They are a tidbit for the enemy:
to kidnap them or, worse, to kill them and then throw the whole blame on
us,” Pushylin said.

We will re-configure our groups in the eastern regions, there is no
question about recalling the observers, a spokesperson for the mission
told Interfax on Wednesday.
