The defense minister of the self-proclaimed "Donetsk People's Republic" (DPR) has ordered journalistic reporting to be temporarily banned in hostility zones, according to the official website of the DPR ministry of information and mass media.

“During the hostilities journalists will be banned from taking
photos, videos and audio recordings, as well as staying in the hostility
zone and in an area in close proximity to military objects,” the
statement said.

Russia Today journalist Graham William Phillips and Anna News stringer Vadim
Aksyonov went missing near the Donetsk airport in the early hours of
July 23 morning. “DPR” representatives presumed the correspondents may
have been held by the Ukrainian military.

“They were filming in close proximity to the positions of the
Ukrainian troops and might have been captured. Currently, the DPR
military agencies are investigating the circumstances surrounding the
disappearance of the journalists,” DPR Security Council member Serhiy
Kavtaradze told Interfax on Wednesday.
