Donetsk Railways has put on two additional trains on the Luhansk-Kyiv and Donetsk-Lviv routes in connection to service increase in passenger flows during the New Year and Christmas holidays, the railways' press service has said.
Additional train No. 524/523 Luhansk-Kyiv will depart from Luhansk at 2005 on Dec. 27 and 29 and arrive in Kyiv at 1322 on the next day. The trains will depart from Kyiv to Luhansk at 2331 on December 28 and 30 and arrive at 1617 on the next day.
Train No. 569/570 Donetsk-Lviv will depart from Donetsk at 1006 on Dec. 26 and 29 and Jan. 2, 5, 8, 11, and arrive in Lviv at 0748 on the next day. On the way back, the train will depart at 1010 on December 27 and 30 and January 3, 6, 9, 12, and arrive in Donetsk at 09:55 on the next day.
"During the winter season, Donetsk Railways uses 576 passenger cars. The trains on the most popular routes have 18 wagons," reads a statement.
