Donetsk - A child died in the Sloviansk combat zone on June 8, the Donetsk region state administration's healthcare department told Interfax-Ukraine on Tuesday, June 10.

Reportedly, the child died from fragmentation wound, the department said, adding that the precise cause of death would be established by the postmortem.

A number of Ukrainian media outlets reported the death of an eight-year-old boy and other sources claimed it was a five-year-old girl. The regional administration could not confirm those reports.
