PSKOV – A minibus Mercedes Sprinter with Ukrainian passengers has crashed into a Mitsubishi car in Pskov region (Russia), according to the press service of the Main Department of the Emergencies Ministry of Russia in Pskov region.
"The accident occurred on Wednesday, Aug.1, at 8 p.m. Moscow time. There were nine people on the minibus. The passengers, all of whom are Ukrainian citizens, were heading for St. Petersburg," reads the ministry's statement.
According to preliminary information, eight passengers of the bus were injured in the accident. The driver of the Mitsubishi car died immediately on the scene of the crash.
The injured passengers were hospitalized. Four of them are in critical condition, and another four passengers have minor and moderate injuries.
