You're reading: Emergencies Ministry, traffic police give different data on victims of bus-train collision

The Emergencies Ministry of Ukraine has reported that 41 people, including three children, died as a result of the collision of a bus and a passenger train in Dnipropetrovsk region on Tuesday.

According to the ministry’s data, seven people were transferred to Dnipropetrovsk hospital, another three are still in intensive care department of Marhanets hospital as they cannot be moved.

At the same time, the regional department of the traffic police reported that as of 16:00 they managed to find out that there were 51 people on the bus, including the driver. Forty people are believed to be dead, eleven are at hospitals.

Out of the 40 bodies, 38 were identified. Only eight of the eleven survivors were identified.
