The Ukrainian Emergencies Ministry's main office in Donetsk region has warned of an extremely high chance of fire outbreaks in the region and air temperatures rising as high as 42 degrees Celsius.

The ministry’s office in Donetsk region reported on its Web site on Thursday that dry and hot weather was expected in the region.

Southeast winds are expected in the region, with wind speeds of 7-12 m/s, and in some places reaching 15-20 m/s.

Night temperatures will reach 19-40 degrees Celsius, while day temperatures will hit 40-42 degrees Celsius.
