The EU's expert mission will visit Ukraine on September 25-27 to study Kyiv's achievements as part of the implementation of the action plan on visa liberalization, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis has said.

“In order to assess the progress in the implementation by our state of the first stage of the action plan on visa liberalization, an expert mission will make a visit to Ukraine from September 25 to September 27 this year, during which the Ukrainian side will demonstrate its achievements as part of Block 4 ‘External Relations and Fundamental Rights’ of this action plan,” he said at a press briefing on Tuesday.

He noted that there was currently a positive dynamics in the legislative activity of the Ukrainian parliament in the adoption of European integration laws.

“The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry hopes for further fruitful work of our parliament and the timely adoption of respective legislation on the road to preparations for the signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, as well as the liberalization of the EU visa regime for Ukrainian citizens,” he said.
