You're reading: European Parliament delegation to visit Kyiv

BRUSSELS – A delegation of the European Parliament will visit Kyiv on July 23-25.

According to the press service of the European Parliament, the delegation will be led by head of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs Elmar Brok, as well as Chairman of the European Parliament’s Delegation for relations with Ukraine Andrej Plenkovic.

While in Kyiv, the MEPs are scheduled to meet with the Ukrainian authorities, including President Petro Poroshenko, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and other members of the government, as well as Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman and the leaders of political factions.

In addition, the delegates will meet with representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission and representatives of civil society.
