Brussels - The European Parliament voted in Strasbourg on Tuesday, Sep. 16 to ratify the main part of the association membership agreements with Ukraine.

The European Parliament will next confirm the selected part of the agreement dealing with citizens of third countries legally working in either side. This will bring the ratification procedure to an end.

Reports said earlier that ratification of the Ukraine-European Union associated membership agreement is proceeding simultaneously in the European Parliament and in Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada.
