You're reading: Fall of Ukraine’s GDP in Q2, 2015 slows to 14.7 percent

Ukraine's real gross domestic product (GDP) in the second quarter of 2015 decreased by 14.7 percent compared to the same period of 2014, while in the first quarter the decline was 17.2 percent, in the fourth quarter of 2014 it was 14,8 percent, in the third quarter 5.4 percent, in the second quarter 4.5 percent, while in the first quarter 1.2 percent.

According to live data, published by the State Statistics Service, compared to the first quarter of 2015 GDP in the second quarter of 2015, taking into account the seasonal factor, decreased by 0.9 percent.

The statistics report does not contain other data, in particular that on nominal GDP.

As reported, the State Statistics Service in mid-June improved the provisional figure of GDP decline in the first quarter of this year, promulgated a month ago, from 17.6 percent to 17.2 percent.
