You're reading: Female activists try to occupy French Justice Ministry, protesting rape of minors

Members of the controversial Ukrainian feminist group FEMEN tried to break into the French Justice Ministry building on Monday, protesting the release of "ten bastards who brutally raped girls aged 15 and 16" and threatening to find and castrate the rapists if they are not taken back into jail.

“The activists occupied ground floor windows and tried to take the building by storm, covering the ministry’s entrance with a banner saying ‘Rape Club,'” FEMEN said in a statement.

“The FEMEN women’s movement accused French justice of complicity in the rape of minors committed by a group. The reason for the accusation is the clearing of ten bastards who brutally raped 15 and 16 year old girls. The 13-year trial ended up in the release of the criminals,” the group said.

“FEMEN sentences French justice to the immediate rectification of this mistake and to meting out an extremely strict punishment on those guilty. Otherwise the FEMEN activists will themselves take on the mission of finding the criminals and punishing them through a rite of castration,” it said.

“This situation has become a new French disgrace, one that overshadows the impunity of the old pervert Dominique Strauss-Kahn. Congratulations, ladies and gentlemen! Paris is no longer the love capital, but the rapist capital,” FEMEN said.
