Russia has received payment for the first coupon on $3 billion in Ukrainian Eurobonds placed in Russia's favor in December 2013, a Finance Ministry spokesman told Interfax.

“The funds have been received in full,” the spokesman said.

The coupon payment totaled $73.33 million. The official due date was June 20.

On June 19, Ukraine’s Finance Ministry posted information concerning the Eurobond coupon payment on its website.
