You're reading: Financial aid for injured personnel in war-torn zone to increase by Hr 432 million

The Defense Ministry of Ukraine will allocate additional funds to monetary assistance for military personnel injured in the war-torn zone.

“Additional resources, secured for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine under the measures of increasing the costs of the defense budget for 2015, will provide payments for injured military [personnel] who took part in the anti-terrorist operation, will provide food and material support for military personnel, arrange field camps and training areas, and fully pay cash covers and additional rewards for participation in the anti-terrorist operation,” the press service of the Defense Ministry reported on July 28.

According to the ministry, almost Hr 828 million is to be allocated to food for military personnel, Hr 782 million – for material support, Hr 432.5 million – financial aid for military personnel injured during the war, and Hr 123 million – to materials for military units, training centers and training areas.
