President of the Football federation of Ukraine Hryhoriy Surkis is ready to make an official offer to Shakhtar Donetsk football club's coach Mircea Lucescu to become a chief coach of the Ukrainian national football team.
Surkis has said this in an official letter to Shakhtar Donetsk President Rinat Akhmetov posted on the FFU’s official Web site on Tuesday.
"I am ready to discuss my initiative tete-a-tete at any time, which is convenient to you," he said.
"I would be grateful for an adequate response to my offer," Surkis said.
