You're reading: Foreign Ministry discloses names of two Ukrainians killed in plane crash in Russia

Two Ukrainians killed on Tuesday in the Tu-134 airplane crash in Petrozavodsk, Russia, lived in Kharkiv region, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has said.

"There are two citizens of Ukraine among the victims: Khrystyna Onischenko, born 1989, and Vahram Simovian, born 1975. They lived in Kharkiv region," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s spokesman Oleksandr Dykusarov said at a briefing on Tuesday.

He added that the Foreign Ministry is currently obtaining more detailed information about the deceased.

Relatives of the victims will be notified immediately upon the receipt of more accurate data.

The press secretary said a special aircraft will bring relatives of the Tu-134 airplane crash victims from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Petrozavodsk on Tuesday.
