You're reading: Foreign Ministry doesn’t know new date of summit of Central and Eastern European states

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has no information regarding the new date of the summit of heads of Central and Eastern European states, which was previously postponed.

"There has been no information about the summit, we postponed it and are currently holding consultations with our partners," the Foreign Ministry’s spokesman, Oleksandr Dykusarov, said at a briefing on May 22.

The Foreign Ministry still hopes to hold this event.

As reported, a summit of Central and Eastern European states scheduled to take place on May 11-12 in Yalta has been postponed, after leaders of Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Germany, Italy, Slovenia and Bulgaria said they would not attend the event.
