You're reading: Foreign Ministry: No Ukrainians were on bus that crashed in Belgium

There were no Ukrainian citizens among those killed and injured in a bus accident near Antwerp, Belgium, on Sunday morning, the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Ukraine reported.

“There were no Ukrainians among the passengers of the bus,” Acting
Director of the ministry’s information policy department Yevhen
Perebyinis told Interfax-Ukraine.

Three Russian nationals and two Poles were killed the accident,
according to the Russian embassy in Belgium. Nineteen passengers
sustained injuries.

There were 39 people in the bus, including 31 children. Children aged
between 12 and 17 were traveling in the bus. All tourists who were
traveling in this bus were Russian nationals.
