You're reading: Foreign Ministry: Planes with Ukrainians evacuated from Syria to arrive in Kyiv at 7 p.m.

Two aircraft of the Ukrainian Emergencies Ministry with Ukrainians evacuated from Syria will arrive at Boryspil International Airport at 1900-1930 Kyiv time, the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has reported.

The planes are currently being refueled at the airport in Ankara (Turkey) and then they will fly to Kyiv.

It was earlier expected that the aircraft would arrive at Boryspil at 6:30 and 6:40 p.m.

According to preliminary data, the Ukrainian citizens will undergo
passport and customs controls at Terminal F at Boryspil Airport.

The evacuation is being carried out in connection with the worsening security situation in Syria.
